LutraCAD software is an electronical download. After you purchase you will receive a verification email from LutraCAD. To activate your product code you can follow the following steps:

  • Go to manager.lutracad.com
  • Login or register a new LutraCAD ID
  • Go to Plans
  • Click on the Redeem License button
  • Enter your Product code and press Redeem Product

First you need to activate your product code. The question above will explain how. After you have entered your product code you can follow the steps below:

  • Go to manager.lutracad.com
  • Login with your LutraCAD ID
  • Go to Downloads
  • Click on Download link with the corresponding license
  • A download will start
  • Please follow the instructions on the screen

Hardware:

  • 8 GB memory (RAM) or more is recommended.
  • 600 MB disk space.
  • OpenGL 4.1 capable video card is recommended.
  • No more than 63 CPU Cores.
  • Multiple-button mouse with scroll wheel is recommended.
  • Minimum screen size of 15,6"
  • Apple hardware is supported with Bootcamp.

Operating systems:

  • Windows 10, or 8.1
  • 64-bit (x64)

Internet connection for:

  • Download and installation.
  • License validation.

Yes, LutraCAD is available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Chinese. To change the language go to Settings > Tab General > Language.

Is your language not supported? Contact us for the possibilities.

After you have installed Rhino7 you can change the Rhino version in Settings > Tab General > Rhino and select Rhino7

2D scanners:

Any scanner which follow the TWAIN protocol is supported, this means 99% of the 2D scanners are compatible.

3D scanners:

  • LSR Scanner
  • RSScan Tiger
  • RSScan Plantar E500 (iQube)
  • RSScan Plantar E100 (iQube mini)
  • STT-Systems Podia
  • UPOD Scanner
  • USOL 3D Scanner

Pressure plates:

  • RSScan Footscan 9

Please note that if a scanner is not supported does not mean you cannot use the scanner. LutraCAD allows you to import any STL file, but makes it easier to control the scanners without need of any 3rd party software. You can use the original software of the scanner to make your scan and import it into LutraCAD.

If your scanner is not yet supported, please contact LutraCAD Support to see if we can add the scanner to the supported list.

You can import 2D images with the file types: JPG, PNG, PDF, BMP.

For 3D scans you can use the following file types: STL, OBJ, WRL.
