In addition to our training courses and detailed user guides, you can access our Academy online with guides and tutorials, an online knowledge platform, remote support sessions and ticket-based support.

General Questions

Yes, LutraCAD is available in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Chinese. Is your language not listed? Contact us for the possibilities.

Hardware:
64-bit Intel or AMD processor (Not ARM)
8 GB memory (RAM) or more is recommended.
600 MB disk space.
OpenGL 4.1 capable video card is recommended.
4 GB Video RAM or more recommended.
Multiple-button mouse with scroll wheel is recommended.
Minimum screen size of 15,6"
Apple Intel hardware with Boot Camp optional. (Boot Camp is not supported on Apple Silicon M1 Macs.)

Operating systems:
Windows 11, 10, or 8.1
Windows VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)

Internet connection for:
Download and installation.
License validation.

We can use any open format file system files. You can import 2D images with the file types: JPG, PNG, PDF, BMP. For 3D scans you can use the following file types: STL, OBJ, WRL.

Please note that if a scanner is not supported does not mean you cannot use the scanner. LutraCAD allows you to import any STL file, but makes it easier to control the scanners without need of any 3rd party software. You can use the original software of the scanner to make your scan and import it into LutraCAD.
